Your daily overview

A clearer picture of your practice.Every day.

When you're responsible for every part of a tutoring practice, it's easy to lose track of something that needs your attention. There's attendance to record, invoices to send, feedback to write and paperwork to check.

We bring your day's sessions and the outstanding items across your practice into one dashboard. You can see what's happening now, what needs you and where to go next.

Start with the day ahead.

Your dashboard opens with a summary of the day and how many things need your attention. Tiles show your sessions this week, money received this month, number of students and Needs you.

Today's sessions appear as a timeline, with the session happening now marked. When a session has finished but its attendance hasn't been recorded, you'll see Take attendance.

You can also see How full the week is for the following week, starting on Sunday.

Wednesday.A full afternoon: four sessions, and 2 things need you.

See what needs you, in order.

The Needs you section groups outstanding items into sessions, money, families and email, with the most urgent first.

It can show sessions waiting for attendance, feedback owed for recent sessions, invoices ready to send, overdue families, refused or delayed payments, hours owed back, notices to end tuition, consent withdrawals and take-downs, new enquiries, outstanding paperwork, bounced emails and messages waiting for your approval.

Rather than having to remember every loose end, you can start with the items the dashboard brings to your attention.

Find records without hunting through menus.

Use Search with ⌘K to find children and families, including past ones. You can search sessions by who's attending, invoices by number or family, plans, enquiries, documents, settings, email templates and help.

Search doesn't look inside notes, but it can help you get to the relevant record or area of the practice quickly.

Get your practice ready, one step at a time.

The Getting your practice ready checklist shows how many of the nine setup steps you've completed and names the next one.

The checklist covers teaching hours, parent availability, documents, session types and rates, invoicing, email setup, term dates, your Stripe account and your first family.

Once you're using the practice, the dashboard also gives you access to the day's timeline and Needs you on your phone.
