A calendar that understands your week.
Your tutoring calendar has to work around more than appointments. There's the school year, the gaps between sessions, your teaching hours and the times that work for each family.
We bring your sessions, term dates, availability and attendance together. You can see where you have room to teach, book a session that fits and keep track of changes without losing sight of what's already planned.
See your week the way you need to.
Switch between Month, Week, Day and Agenda views, whether you're at your desk or on your phone. Month gives you the overview. Week shows your time grid. Day shows the detail, including how much free time sits between sessions. Agenda gives you a list.
Sessions are coloured by type, so you can distinguish one-to-one, Buddy and Small group teaching. You can filter by family or show only sessions still waiting for attendance.

Plan around the school year.
Import term dates for your council in England or Wales, including half-terms and bank holidays. If you're in Scotland or Northern Ireland, or a school follows its own calendar, you can enter the dates yourself.
Add your own leave and set your teaching hours for each weekday. You can also add a second teaching window in a day or extra hours on a particular date.
When a date changes, we show you which booked sessions are affected. You decide whether to keep each session, give the hour back or let the hour go. Nothing is removed without your say-so.
Book sessions that fit.
When you book a session, we show you the days that are in term, school holidays, inset days, bank holidays and your own leave. You can see which days a family has marked as usually free in their portal, too.
Choose the session type, children, date, start time and duration. We rule out times that overlap another session, fall outside your teaching hours or leave too little time between sessions. Where a time doesn't fit, we explain why.
Family availability is a preference, not a booking. Parents don't book sessions themselves. You decide which time to offer.
Let recurring sessions follow the term.
Set a session to repeat until the end of the current term, the end of the academic year or a date you choose. School and bank holidays are skipped, with the reason shown.
If plans change, you can edit just one session or that session and all future sessions. Past sessions and invoiced sessions aren't changed.
Attendance and cancellations, recorded properly.
Mark each child as Attended or Absent on your phone. If a child is absent, record the reason. Sessions still waiting for attendance are easy to find, and cancelled sessions remain visible in the calendar.
If a session is cancelled, record who cancelled and why. When a family cancels, the charge stands. When you cancel, you can reschedule or refund. The session's record carries through to invoicing.
Your questions, answered.
- Can parents book their own sessions?
- No. Families can mark when their children are usually free in their portal, but they contact you to arrange sessions. You make the booking.
- Can I book during school holidays?
- Yes. Holidays are excluded from recurring sessions by default. You can choose to show available times during a holiday when booking a particular session.
- What happens when I change my teaching hours?
- We show you any sessions that would fall outside the new hours before you save. Saving your new hours doesn't move or remove those sessions.
- Can I change a recurring session without changing the whole series?
- Yes. Choose whether to change that session only or that session and all future sessions. Past and invoiced sessions are left alone.
