- Tax estimatesKeep an eye on your income, costs and mileage. See estimated tax and National Insurance, how much to put aside and when HMRC expects payment.
- Your familiesGive every family their own portal for sessions, feedback, invoices, documents and consent. They see their own children’s information, not anyone else’s.
- Children’s recordsKeep learning profiles, school details and important information together. Consent has a history, and safeguarding notes are kept separately with access logged.

Lucy Learn costs one fixed price. When families pay for their lessons, the money goes straight to your own Stripe account. We don’t handle it, and we don’t take a percentage.

Direct Debit
Stripe charges its own fees for processing card and Direct Debit payments. These come out of your Stripe balance and are paid to Stripe. Lucy Learn adds nothing on top.
Your subscription might stop.Your records don’t disappear overnight.
If a payment fails, you have time to put it right. Your practice is locked after seven days without payment, but your records remain available to export for up to 90 days.

If a subscription payment can’t be collected, Stripe may try again. If it’s still unpaid after seven days, your practice is locked.

Your practice is locked
Families can no longer sign in, and Lucy Learn stops sending things on your behalf. You can still access your billing screen and export your records.

Come back whenever you’re ready
Pay the outstanding amount through your billing screen and your practice unlocks immediately, just as you left it.
- 4Day 90
Records are removed
If the outstanding payment hasn’t been settled within 90 days, your practice and its records are removed. You can export everything up until then.
A few things you might be wondering.
No. Your subscription covers every feature and every family. Whether you teach ten children or forty, the price stays the same.
No. Families pay you through your own Stripe account. Their payments go to you, not to Lucy Learn. We never take a cut.
Stripe has its own fees for processing card and Direct Debit payments. These are deducted from your Stripe balance and paid to Stripe. You can see the charges in your Stripe dashboard. Lucy Learn doesn’t add a payment fee.
No. Connect an existing Stripe account or create one when you set up payments. You’ll need to connect it before sending your first invoices if you want families to pay online.
You choose monthly or yearly when you sign up. Your first 7 days are free, and your card isn’t charged until the trial ends. Cancel before then and you won’t pay anything.
Yes. You can change your subscription in Settings, under Subscription. During your trial, your card isn’t charged. After the trial, Stripe charges or credits the difference for the remaining part of your subscription period.
Yes. You can stop your subscription. If you leave, you can export your records, including while your practice is locked.
Your practice is locked if a payment remains unpaid for seven days. You can still access billing and export your records for up to 90 days. Pay what you owe during that period and your practice unlocks immediately. After 90 days, the practice and its records are removed.
